There's no catch. Since we cannot discount the prices of current designer frames, providing free prescription lenses and free UK delivery is our way of offering designer spectacles as cost-effectively as possible to the consumer.
All frames on our website are available with a choice of standard plastic, hard-coated, anti-reflection, 1.6 index (thin) or sunglass lenses - all at no charge. Three further lens options are available at a surcharge - 1.67 index (£50 per pair), 1.74 index (£125 per pair) and photochromic lenses (£50 per pair). Other high index lens types (including glass lenses), bifocals and varifocals and all other lens types are available on request - please contact us for prices.
The majority of our lenses are supplied by Essilor and use their Crizal lens coating. For more information on Essilor products please visit their website at www.essilor.com.
In some instances, and depending on the customer's prescription and type of lens requested, we source our lenses from one of a number of other manufacturers, most commonly Kodak, Seiko, Rodenstock, Sola, Jai Kudo, Norville, Hoya, Pentax, Nikon or Zeiss.
